SpectraCal has a cutting edge calibration lab that was custom built for highly accurate colorimeter calibration. Our standard reference meter is the Konica Minolta CS-2000 spectroradiometer. The calibration bench was built with high grade components to ensure precise physical alignment of meters every time. The lab itself is fully light and climate controlled to ensure environmental impacts on meter accuracy are minimized.

Overview

SpectraCal creates and sells calibration software, to adjust display output for the environment in which the display is used, to ensure that display output matches recognized industry standards such as ITU-R BT 709.   

To make the process of measurement and adjustment more efficient, SpectraCal can create a Direct Display Control (DDC) interface to a manufacturer’s displays. Using the DDC interface, the display’s parameters can be altered and adjusted in an automated fashion.

The benefits to the manufacturer of this work include:

• Making it easier for installers and integrators to quickly and accurately set up the manufacturer’s displays
• Increased recognition of among integrators and installers as a brand devoted to video quality and image fidelity
